DIGITAL
CLASSES

SassyTuna Studio teaches children to design, code, and build video games in small class sizes, taught by professional artists and designers.

VIDEO GAME AND CODING CLASSES

SassyTuna Digital Art Classes run from September to June and are between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours per class, depending on their age groups.

We offer small class sizes, focused on skills and creativity, customized to your child’s interests and needs. All the materials you child needs will be provided in our bright, homey digital studio space, where working animators and designers are around to interact with students.

Our students are encouraged to make all their own game graphics, including characters, decorations, platforms, etc., and are guided through the process of  creating different types of games. We teach troubleshooting, accountability, self-confidence, and social skills as students will test each other's games, learning to provide constructive feedback, and applying the critiques from their peers.

CLASS FEES

We hold 33 classes from September to June. We do not apply an up-front enrolment fee. The program is paid monthly, or conveniently (less expensive) in annual and bi-annual payments.

For students:

$90 per month (annual)

$95 per month (bi-annual)

$100 per month (monthly subscription + $5 processing fee)

for classes, once a week, over 33 weeks.

Some months have 5 sessions, some have 3 sessions, however we subdivide each monthly payment equally.

*Four-week notice required to withdraw from classes, as we are dedicated to the program.

"I have had the privilege of working with artist Julie Lewis on several occasions through The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council. She is a very intellectual person, a highly trained artist who freely shares a wide variety of personal experiences with her students. Her passion for animation and design is infectious and her knowledge is unmistakable."
